How the Derby Dash Cash Drive works
- Pick a horseshoe. Tap any blue “Available” horseshoe on the track for the amount you’d like to give.
- Confirm and pay. A box sends you to Zeffy to pay securely. Your gift is tax deductible.
- Turn the Racetrack Gold. Once you pay, your horseshoe turns gold and Richie can cross it. Turn all the horseshoes gold for Richie to cross the finish line and meet our goal!
- Raffle Entry. Every donation enters you into a raffle to win a prize! Raffle winners pulled daily from that day’s donations.
What your donation funds
Your donations to the FOR Club directly enhance the daily educational experience of students at Richland Elementary, and 100% of funds raised in this cash drive return to the school.
The funds we raise support important programs and resources across campus, including:
- Completely funding the STEM program and art/performing arts curriculum for the entire school;
- Funding crucial instructional aides who provide targeted student support;
- Fully funding the Teacher Grant program, which equips classrooms with technology and learning materials requested by teachers;
- Covering the cost of grade-level field trips and exciting educational assemblies;
- Supporting extracurricular clubs and visual and performing arts programs; and
- Funding scholarships to help ensure every student has the opportunity to participate in enriching activities, regardless of financial need.
